Where does the snowmobile come from?
A snowmobile (also called a snow scooter in France) and, Skidoo or ski-doo in Canada, is a small motorized vehicle , which moves using one or two tracks and equipped with directional skis. It requires neither way nor path. The snowmobile can be used for utility or leisure purposes. They are thus used for hiking in the regions of the Nordic countries while their development during the 20th century has considerably modified travel in the Arctic poles by considerably facilitating traditional means of transport.
The snowmobile driver or a person practicing this sport is a snowmobiler.
